Photos of Camping Trip in the High Uintas

This is Andersen Pass from about
five miles away.
This is Benjamin at Andersen
Pass just before starting the
climb to the top.

These are the scouts climbing up
the last 500 feet to the top of
Kings Peak.

Here we are at the top by the
plaque. They are very tired.

Another view of the scouts at
the top of the world.

Highest scoutmaster in Utah.

Closeup look at the plaque on the
top of Kings Peak.

Looking west from the top of
Kings Peak at the many lakes
and snow drifts.

We took a long peaceful rest at
beautiful Tungsten Lake. We also
caught some nice fish here. This
was one of our favorite spots.

Cooking Brook Trout at 10,500
feet elevation. They really taste
good!

We're now leaving the south slope
to cross over Black Smith's Fork
onto the north slope. At this point
we saw a coyote.

We hiked to Red Castle Lake and
camped two nights beneath Red
Castle Mountain.
