Meet Your College of Humanities Advisors

Welcome

Welcome

Walk-ins are always welcome. As you walk into the Humanities Advisement Center you will be greeted by one of our student assistants. Sign in, visit with the secretary, and then meet with your advisor. You can schedule an appointment by calling (801) 422-4789 or emailing humanities-advisement@byu.edu. All advisors are trained in the entire College of Humanities and can assist with any question you might have. We hope to see you soon!

When it comes to careers, majors throughout the college need not despair--any major can be the Number 1 demand. There are plenty of employers that say, "if you are a college graduate and want to learn our business, we will take you from that point on." Make a difference with your humanities/liberal arts degree. Employers need your talents, particularly your analytical skills, your writing and communications expertise, and your creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Come visit Ron in the Advisement Center. He will assist you with your career decisions and goals, maybe even tell you about his lovely and talented wife who is earning her degree in English, is PTA president, and plays the violin. He will also show you pictures of his four children. Email Ron at spottie@byu.edu
