Changing Your Minor

If your major is in the College of Humanities and you wish to declare a minor in the College of Humanities, please contact the Humanities Advisement Center to request the minor be added to your record. If you wish to declare a minor that is not in the College of Humanities, you will want to visit the advisement center of the college where the minor is housed. For instance, if you wish to declare the Music minor, contact the Fine Arts and Communications Advisement Center in D-444 HFAC to request that a minor clearance form be sent to the Humanities Advisement Center. Once the minor clearance form is received, the minor will be declared on the student record.

If your major is not in the College of Humanities and you wish to declare a minor that is housed in the College of Humanities, visit the Humanities Advisement Center in 1175 JFSB to request that a minor clearance form be sent to your advisement center. Some minors require that you meet with faculty in the department before the minor can be declared.
