China Scholarship

Requirements

1. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the College of Humanities. (Undergraduate or Graduate)
2. Applicants must be an international student from China, Taiwan, Singapore, or Hong Kong.
3. Applicants may not have been awarded any other university scholarship.
4. Applicants must complete the entire application procedure by August 30, 2009 (Fall) or October 15, 2009 (Winter).

Procedure

1. Download the China Scholarship application
2. Fill out all Personal Information (page 3).
3. Attach a short biographical sketch that mentions full-time missionary service experiences and any academic honors you have received. Include a brief statement of your educational objectives and life goals. Limit your response to 250 words or less (page 4).
4. Fill out a graduation plan and have it approved in the Humanities Advisement Center.
   The form is available at the Humanities Advisement Center, 1175 JFSB.
5. Provide two letters of recommendation. Letters must be in a sealed envelope and attached to this application.
6. Turn in your completed application form by August 30, 2009 (Fall) or October 15, 2009 (Winter).
   You must have the Check List completed and stapled on top of your entire application, or it will not be accepted at the Advisement Center (page 2).

Print the completed application form and turn it into the Humanities Advisement Center.
