An simple user interface has been created to help simplify running AM projects with the newest version of the system. It consists of one file, amgui.pl, which can be downloaded here. Like the AM program itself, the interface assumes you have Perl running on your system. (See the AM download page for information on how to obtain Perl). This interface also assumes that you have Tk installed on your computer; Tk is free and can be obtained from here.

It is important to save the file amgui.pl in a carefully chosen place; it must be place in the same folder that contains the home folder(s) of your AM project(s). To run the interface, simply click (or double-click) on its icon.

The Folder_name box asks for the name of the AM project that you want to run. The Delimiter box asks you to specify how your vectors are delimited. Some of the most popular Output_Options are selectable. The Repeat_Options box allows you to set the probability and repeat values. Some common hooks are also selectable in the Hook_Options box. When all the information is set, click the Run button to run the AM task. The Exit button lets you leave the interface.
