Biography:

Boyd Petersen is the author of the biography, Hugh Nibley: A Consecrated Life, which received the best biography award from the Mormon History Association in 2003. He has a PhD in Comparative Literature, and his interests are in Romanticism and Religious Studies. In addition to Honors University Writing, he has taught classes on Writing and Researching Religion and the Literary History of Adam and Eve. In his Honors 150 class, he has three primary goals: to help students hone their writing skills, get them excited about living the life of the mind, and to urge them to orient their lives around the gospel.
