Biography: A former attorney and financial advisor, Greg Taggart has worked as a freelance writer for the last 12 years, contributing to various Bloomberg publications, the FARMS Review of Books, Marriott Alumni Magazine, and BankRate.com, among others. He has been teaching in the Honors 150 program for 10 years. The primary goals of his course are to help his students find their voice as they navigate the waters of academic writing. To do this, he employs a number of non-academic writing assignments that require the student to write to a variety of different audiences. The class features extensive, in-class and online workshopping geared to help the student become a better writer.
