Biography:
Jarica Watts holds a Ph.D. in British and American Literature from the University of Utah. She specializes in twentieth-century British literature, postcolonial literature and theory, and minority discourses. Jarica has published work on Chinua Achebe and Zadie Smith, and she is the editor of the book collection, Here Lies Lalo, which brings into the prominence the works of Chicano poet Abelardo "Lalo" Delgado. Jarica has a three-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old cat; she a competitive runner and a casual scuba diver, and she lives with her family in Lehi.
