Biography: I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, but lived in several places in the UK and a couple of years in Gibraltar as my father was in the RAF. I joined the LDS church in Lugano, Switzerland where I was working for a Swiss travel agent. I received both my BA and MA in English with a rhetoric emphasis. My thesis, "Digital Storytelling: The Application of Vichian Theory," is based on multimedia and narrative based on theories of 18th-century Italian rhetorician, Giambattista Vico, and 20th-century scholar, Marshall McLuhan.
