Biography:

Lisa R. Harris received both her bachelors and masters degrees in English from Brigham Young University. Professionally, she has worked as a writer for BYU Development Communications and as an assistant editor at a local business magazine. But her first love is creative writing. She has won several awards for her short stories and personal essays. Her secret love is cowboy poetry, which she also writes and publishes. Her novel "The Unlikely Gift of Treasure Blume" will be released Nov. 2012.
