Courses: English 251, 314, 315 (past courses: 115, 200, 218R) Degrees: Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from the U of U; masters in creative writing from BYU; B.A. in English literature from BYU Awards: Several short stories and articles published; 2nd place in Utah Arts Council writing contest 1995; Best student paper American Society for the History of Rhetoric: grants and scholarships Activities: Wife of wonderful man; six gorgeous children; involved in writers groups; rides own motorcycle; has pilot's license Although I feel strongly about writing and am constantly engaged in one writing project or another, teaching is my candy--my reward for spending long hours alone while writing. I find that my students are a great source of enlightenment and amusement and I get a sense of fulfillment from interacting with them. So feel free to contact me!
