Biography:

Marny Parkin started learning book production at <i>The Leading Edge,</i> BYU's science fiction and fantasy magazine, while she was an undergraduate. That led to a job with <i>BYU Studies</i> and then freelance book design. She has done typesetting and book design for twenty years for both publishing companies and self-publishers. She works on two bibliography projects for fun, as well as the proceedings for BYU's science fiction symposium. Marny is married to author Scott R. Parkin, and they have six kids, one cat, and a varying number of fish.
