Biography: Visiting Instructor Elise Silva completed her MA in American Literature at BYU. Her scholarly interests include interrogating the places where contemporary politics and literatures meet—in post 9/11 literature specifically. Her personal interests include playing tennis and trying out new recipes.

Elise grew up in the beautiful Pacific NW, spent time abroad in France and Brazil, and now lives in South Provo with her husband, Rodrigo.
