Biography: She received her ABD from Washington University, St. Louis, her BA and MA from Brigham Young University in Comparative Literature, and her second MA from Penn State in Comparative Literature--Literary theory and aesthetics emphasis. She has also taught elementary Japanese at PSU, Wash University, and Middlebury, and Comp Lit. at Washington University of St. Louis.
