Biography:

Visiting Instructor Vilja Johnson was raised in Medfield, Massachusetts, where, as the daughter of Finnish immigrants, she grew up speaking Finnish in the home. She received a BA and an MA in English from Brigham Young University. Her academic interests include twentieth-century American literature, literature and film, and popular culture studies.
