    (Teacher models the object pronouns and students repeat.)

    Them Bless them with health.
    It Bless it to grow.
    Thee I thank thee for this beautiful day.
    You Thank you for your reverence.

    (Teacher says a subject pronoun and the students answer with the object pronoun.)

    Example:

  • Teacher: "I"
  • Student: "Me"
  • etc.

  • [Pointer] Fill in the Blank
    [EGP Bar]
    (Students fill in the blank with the correct form of the subject or object pronoun.)

    Example:_________ thank _________ for this day. Answer: I/We thank thee for this day.

    1. Pierre is sick. Bless __________ with health.
    2. ____________ ask ____________, Heavenly Father, to bless __________ with health.
    3. Thank ___________ for coming, brothers and sisters.
    4. Sister Martines, _________ are happy to see __________ here.
    5. Heavenly Father, I need the to help _______ grow in the gospel.
    6. Thank ___________, Raj, for saying the prayer.
    7. We ask ___________ to bless _________ with the Spirit.

    (Students get in pairs and each student writes down five blessings that they feel they need. Students tell their partner what they need, and their partner writes a prayer in their behalf. Students may also volunteer to say their prayers aloud to the class.)

  • Prayer:
  • Dear Heavenly Father,
    I ask thee to bless Luisa with health
    Please belss her to learn English.
    Please help her with her children.
