Holidays are important in American culture. They give us the chance to gather family and friends, to remember important events, and to have fun. Some holidays are very important and have lots of traditions connected to them; nearly everyone celebrates them. Others have less importance. The following are major holidays that most Americans celebrate in some way.
These are days that are important in helping people remember important
people or events. Few people have to work on these days, and most schools
do not hold classes; however, they are not celebrated with the kind of traditions
