Every Thanksgiving we go to Little America and eat the buffet there. We have done this for the past 6 years. We used to go to my grandparents' house, but because our family has gotten so big, we cannot fit into anyone's house anymore. The buffet at Little America is so good. They have a salad and bread table and a meat table, and best of all, the dessert table. After Little America, we go see a movie, and then we go home for a nap. After that we eat a turkey dinner with just my immediate family, and then we play games. That is my Thanksgiving every year. (Elizabeth, age 19, Utah)
A tradition that my family has on Thanksgiving is getting together with another family. We get together to play and have fun. Most of the time the mothers do the cooking. They encourage the sisters to help. The men usually go outside and play football. We play football or we watch it on TV. We then get together and talk about our family happenings during the last year. After that a message is shared. We then get together at the tables, and we eat Thanksgiving dinner.
