Danette Paul specializes in rhetoric and composition, focusing her research on rhetorics of science. Her current research explores the reading and writing practices of scientists.

Professor Paul teaches courses in rhetoric, composition pedagogy, technical writing, advanced composition, and literature and science in the Victorian period.
