Michael D. Bush, Associate Professor of French and Instructional Psychology and Technology, is currently Associate Director of the Center for Language Studies at Brigham Young University (BYU). He directs technology-related, mentored learning projects that support interactive language learning, and his current work involves the production of multimedia learning materials as well as the development of architectures for delivering and studying online learning. He came to BYU in 1992 from the US Air Force Academy where he had chaired the Tenure Council's Working Group on Technology in Education, charged with laying out plans for future implementations of technology in the educational process. Prior to that work at the Academy, he had directed the implementation of the largest interactive videodisc learning center on a college campus, which included the creation of an innovative approach to learning content development.
