Description

Write news articles and profiles; conduct interviews; cover campus events; edit and proofread copy at all stages of production; contribute story ideas; fact check; and conduct research.

$11/hr

internships usually last two semesters

Qualifications

Writing/reporting skills

Substantive editing skills (deeper than proofreading and copyediting)

Familiarity with Chicago and AP styles

BYU student status for duration of internship

finalists will be called back for interviews and writing and editing tests

Description

We have many websites that need to be refined and edited, and additional content is needed for our new sites. Some writing requires some Internet research on given topics. Other writing involves personal experiences. We would provide training, supervision, and feedback to help you refine your skills.Your hours would be flexible. We accept applicants on an ongoing basis.
