Humanities Center Winter Symposium

The Humanities Center and the Office of Digital Humanities will be sponsoring a winter symposium addressing the Digital Humanities. Mark Davies of Linguistics and English Language will be speaking on corpus linguistics, Steve Peck of Biology will be speaking on the hermeneutics of ecological simulation, and Ursula Heise of UCLA's English Department and Institute of the Environment and Sustainability will be speaking on biodiversity databases as a form of contemporary epic.
