We seek in our professional citizenship and personal lives to exemplify and model for our students the ideals and standards of the University, set forth in the "Mission" and "Aims" of BYU; in our teaching to develop our students' capacities both spiritually and philosophically; and in our philosophical scholarship to contribute in the light of the restored gospel to the contemporary conversation of philosophers throughout the world.
