The Britsch Lecture
Recently, Dr. Jay Winter (Yale University) visited BYU and spoke at the annual Britsch Lecture. As part of his lecture, Winter gave students and faculty at the opportunity to consider the silence all around us in the knowledge and view we have of the past. He spoke specifically of what historical silence is and why we have not heard the voices from WWI until more recently in an intriguing way.
