The Single Sword
The Single Sword
Former students Robert Preston Hyatt and Devin Wilson (French minor '05) recently published the translation of a treatise by the sixteenth-century fencing master Henry de Sainct-Didier. Their translation, begun as and ORCA project when they were undergraduates, is titled, The Single Sword of Henry de Sainct- Didier, and is published by Paladin Press. Dr. Jesse Hurlbut helped them with the translation of the original treatise, written in Middle French.
