Todd A. Britsch Professorship

Todd A. Britsch (1938) is an emeritus professor from Brigham Young University. He received his B.A. from BYU in 1962 and completed his PhD. in General Humanities from Florida State University in 1966.

The Britsch Professorship is awarded to a faculty member in the College of Humanities who has distinguished him or herself in what former dean and Academic Vice President Todd A. Britsch called “university thinking” as demonstrated by service to the department, college or university (and who also has a supporting record of achievement in scholarship and teaching). The term of the Britsch Professorship is five years and is not renewable. Britsch Professors will receive an annual stipend of $5000 and a research award of $2500. Money to support the Professorship will come from the Class of 1961 Endowment and the Humanities Annual Fund.
