The Chinese Flagship Program hosted its annual Fall Moon Festival, giving students the chance to appreciate Chinese culture.
PROVO, Utah (Sep. 15, 2016)—Every year, hundreds of thousands of people throughout China, Vietnam, and other countries gather together for the Fall Moon Festival, also known as Jūng-chāu Jit (Chinese), Tết Trung Thu (Vietnamese), or the Harvest Moon Festival. No matter what it is called or where it is observed, the festival is a time of gathering and thanksgiving.
At BYU, the Chinese Flagship Program continued its tradition of hosting the annual event. Students came together to enjoy the evening, eating traditional mooncakes and taking part in the Chinese culture.
