RECENTLY RETIRED member of the Office of Digital Humanities Harold Hendricks was honored by the International Association for Language Learning Technology (IALLT) at their biannual con-ference, June 19–22, with the establishment of an award named in his honor: the Harold Hendricks Award for Sustained Leadership in IALLT. Hendricks is a former IALLT president and executive secretary/programs director.
The award was also given for the first time at the conference. The first recipient of “The Harold” was Jonathan Perkins (University of Kansas) for his service to the organization in multiple areas.
