Dr. Grant Lundberg will be serving as chair of the Department of Russian and German for another term.
PROVO, Utah (July 26, 2019)—Dean of the College of Humanities J. Scott Miller has reappointed Grant Lundberg as chair over the Department of German and Russian. First appointed in 2016, Lundberg will be serving as chair for an additional three years.
Dr. Lundberg has worked in BYU’s Russian department since 1999. He is current co-editor of the Slovene Academy of Science’s Slovenski jezik / Slovene Linguistics Studies journal and researches Slavic historical linguistics. Of his reappointment, Lundberg had this to say: “This is a great department, and I am happy to focus on supporting my colleagues.”
