I teach French language, culture, literature, and civilization courses, as well as business French in the Marriott School of Management. Most of my research activities have focused on French and francophone novelists of the 20th century, including Gabrielle Roy, as well as travel narratives of New France (Canada and the Caribbeans in the 17th Century). I have also conducted research in the field of lexicography and translation (English-French-English). Among other publications, I have co-authored the following books: I have served on many committees at the department, college, and/or university levels. Including French & Italian Department Chair (2004-2009). I have served for many years as French interpreter and/or French interpretation coordinator for the Church.Teaching Experience

I have directed or co-directed 20-25 BYU study abroad programs in France and Canada (Quebec) and supervised many interns for the last 20 years as Coordinator of the French internship program at the Kennedy Center.
