The Washington Irving Professorship of Spanish and American Relations was created in 2015 by International Vice President Sandra Rogers. The purpose of the professorship is to enhance and enlarge BYU’s profile in Spain, create new opportunities for students and faculty in Spain, and coordinate – and celebrate – current work with Spanish individuals and institutions.
