Getting Involved in Linguistics

Graduate students learned about opportunities to get involved at the Faculty Research Fair.

PROVO, Utah (October 1, 2015)—Whatever post-graduation plans students may have, research projects provide them with experience valued by employers and important to their own development. The Faculty Research Fair (hosted by the Department of Linguistics and English Language) not only gave graduate students the chance to learn about the many faculty projects taking place in the department, but also allowed them to meet and talk with professors in a casual setting and to begin exploring options and connections for thesis work.
