Dean Rosenberg and faculty welcome in new students to the College of Humanities during New Student Orientation.
PROVO, Utah (Aug. 29, 2014)—At the start of a new academic year, Dean John Rosenberg and select faculty welcomed in new students interested in majors offered by the College of Humanities.
Rosenberg told freshman that in the college, majors study what it means to be human. He gave them points of advice and encouraged them to get involved within the college and on campus.
“A large part of your education happens outside of the classroom. Be a citizen of the campus community. “He invited them to take advantage of the many extracurricular activities offered at BYU.
He further encouraged them to have Humanities+ experiences, build relationships with their professors, and to love what they do.
